Hey James Ryan, thanks for the feedback! It sounds like you're looking for something similar to our auto-followups, a feature in our original product (FollowUp for Email) but not the new Personal CRM. The reason it isn't in the Personal CRM is because we see auto-followups as more of a sales/marketing feature as opposed to a relationship management one. Also (as Clay Gordon highlighted) it would also make the tool more complex than we'd like, and our goal here is really to stay as lightweight as possible so the tool is simple and easily repeatable.

For me, one of the greatest benefits of FollowUp is that the UI/UX presents very little friction to getting a basic set of tasks done.
Implementing this would need email template creation and storage, variable substitution on send, ruleset creation, scheduling, and more, to do well enough to be truly useful.
There are many programs that already do this and it would add significantly to the complexity of the UI of FollowUp.
