We've already been thinking about this too. Would definitely like to provide a way for users to be able to quickly cancel/complete a reminder. This will need to evolve too as we extend reminder features, like if you set a Reminder on thread we can behave differently. Context will become very important.

I feel like this is something that should be automatic when an email is received, or perhaps when a call is logged. Or maybe have a notification pop up acknowledging the touch with the contact and ask if the reminder should be deleted.

Brandon Lehrmann: I agree that the need and process for deleting reminders needs to be looked at in detail.
It should be possible to edit a reminder based on some interaction (as you mention) before the reminder gets triggered.
Icons displayed on mouseover would be one way to implement these functions.
I am not comfortable with the idea of deleting a reminder upon receipt of an email from the contact in a reminder as there is no way to know, programmatically, if the email is about a specific reminder.
